Hi, Leppu,
I'm glad I ran across your work!
This is one of the best 24-hour comics I've read in a long time,
up there with Boulet's best 24-hour work.
And your story addresses the theme of lucid dreams and
the overlapping bardos far more accurately than you might
realize. OMG
Do you have a title for it?
Cheers!

woah thanks!! Boulet's 24-comics are my very favourites, I always look up to them.
Lucid dreams and such have always intrigued me a lot, I want to make a bigger story about them at some point hehe.
This short doesn't have any name though!

If you want to the best introduction to the topic of
Lucid Dreaming, begin with this book by Stephen LaBerge.
It's out of print, but a pdf is available here:
His second book is also available online here:
After those, I would study Tibetan dream yoga (something I advise
because I have studied the subject for many years and agree with
some of the warnings).:o (Eek)

I think you should call your 24-hour comic "The Storm" if you
need a title. It's general enough not to give anything away
and it's also thematically appropriate because of the images
of electricity that run through the story (lightning, neurological
activity, the defribullator). Having Ben be a shared consciousness
with Routa at the end was quite wonderful. Gene Wolfe (in The
Shadow of the Torturer) did the best job of it in fantasy if you
want to look at that book.

As for the field of Lucid Dream research, it may have been inspired
by The Dream Master by Roger Zelazny. The novel was an expanded
version of "He Who Shapes," which Zelazny published originally
in 1966.
I'm pretty sure LaBerge had read both works (and some of what he
finds in his research is uncannily similar to what's described in the fiction).
There's a less interesting film version of The Dream Master that was
made in 1984 called Dreamscape: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreamsca…

I will look forward to reading more of Prague Race as it continues!
May you have a most productive New Year. Party

"The Storm" is a really good idea for a name. AND WOAH thank you so much for all this reference!! I can't describe how thankful I am, I spend a lot of time for looking for ideas and reference and here you just bring them to me on a silver platter : D this is so cool! I'll definitely read those books right away.

:)
Let me know when you're all caught up and I'll
tell you about the work of Bruce Goldberg, who
works with past-life regression and future-life
progression. (It also relates to the theme of your
comic.)
I suspect there are lots of parallels between
Finnish Shamanism and ancient Korean Shamanism since
the languages are linked via old Ural-Altiac connections --
both make use of soul travel between worlds.
I loved your depiction of the witch doctor.
